MAKAHIKI BREAKFAST BUFFET: (CHARACTER BREAKFAST) Guaranteed pix with some characters, posed shots beforehand and during the meal. Plus many food options; also did character dinner that first nite. ) We never waited in any lines to see characters during the days be SNACKS from the buffet for the road?????? One blogger suggested.

Join Aulani's beloved "Uncle" and some favorite Disney Characters on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings for a musical song and story revue.
The Menehune Mischief dinner and show last from 5:15 PM to 6:00 PM, with seating starting at 4:30 PM and photo opportunities beginning at 4:45 PM.
The regular Makahiki buffet dinner is available in this location beginning at 6:30 PM, 7 nights a week.

Get free BEACH TOYS from the desk by beach but do it early, they run out. Bring your own goggles and SNORKEL - it isn't deep. bring snorkels on trip.
CHARACTER POOL PARTY; The Disney character pool party cute and FUN! Check DAILY FLIERS for events on back!
BEACH CHAIRS: If you see your towels have been folded on your lawn chair by the pool or beach - UNFOLD IT IMMEDIATELY! - this means you are on the clock for your belongings to be moved from the chairs to make room for all guests and prevent people from holding chairs who are not really using them. Some guest get confused and think it is just great service which it is ..just more for others than for the guests using the chairs!

Walking Distance:
-Paradise Cove Luau is walking distance on the other side of the Marriott next door. Not to be confused with the other Marriott 3 lagoons down.
-There are pools for crabbing somewhere on the other side of the Marriott next door - so pack water shoes
-Monkey Pod Restaurant in walking distance good reviews
-There is a Starbucks in the Marriott right next door.
AULANE LOCATION: KO'O'LINA AREA OF OAHU
-Costco, Target and Safeway all in this area
-There is a Historic Train that rides once a week to Ewa Beach
-Genki Sushi Prices start at $1.50
-Kaneaki Heiau Ancient Hawaiian Ruins
-White Plains Beach Park Great beach for the day it has bathrooms!
In the winter the waves are much bigger than in the calmer water summer months
